Melanocortin analog that darkens skin. It is milder than Melanotan II, with far less effect on libido or appetite.

- Light sensitivity in erythropoietic protoporphyria (approved as an implant)

Dosing
- Typical dose
- The approved form is a 16 mg implant every 2 months. Injectable powder has no approved dose. Community protocols usually start at a low daily dose to test tolerance.
